One bill moved through the New Hampshire legislature on Saturday, and it did not survive. The day’s only action was the death of a measure that would have expanded how therapeutic cannabis centers can grow their product.

Killed

SB 468 — Greenhouse Cultivation for Alternative Treatment Centers Sponsored by Sen. Howard Pearl (R), this bill would have allowed New Hampshire’s licensed alternative treatment centers to cultivate cannabis in greenhouse facilities in addition to existing indoor operations. Supporters of the approach have argued that greenhouse growing can reduce overhead costs, which could translate to lower prices for medical cannabis patients. The bill is now dead for this legislative session.
